Pax 1 Vaporizer Review
The Verdict
The original Pax, the one that started it all, looks great but it hardly works. I mean, it does work, I guess, but the vapor it produces is wispy, light, and low volume. You're not getting any fat clouds with this one, not even close. If looks were everything, it'd be one of the best. But unfortunately for the Pax 1, looks aren't everything and when it comes to vaping, functionality holds a lot more sway than appearance. For a dry herb portable vaporizer, which is what the Pax is, the ability to produce exceptional vapor is a necessity and everything else is just an accessory. So when it comes to vapor, one of the areas that I look most critically at, the Pax 1 vaporizer just doesn't perform up to expectation. I'd rate it okay at best. If that sounds disappointing, don't worry, it should. But seriously, there is an upside and that upside is the fact that the Pax 1 is ancient in vape years and there are now new vapes on the market to choose from that are far superior to the original Pax. In fact, Pax Labs, its manufacturer, now has better vapes to choose from, and much better vapes at that. The Pax 2 and 3, while similar in appearance, are far superior to the original. I'd even go as far as to say that they're actually good vapes, whereas the original- not so much. I strongly suggest taking a look at the new ones if you haven't already. As for the Pax 1, simply put: I don't recommend it. There are just too many better vapes out there to choose from these days.
