Cleaning the Blu e-cigarette might prove unnecessary for some, but for those who use Blu’s rechargeable battery with cartridges other than Blu’s, it might prove to be a necessity in order to maintain full and proper battery function.
In this guide, I’ll explain how to go about it.
Cleaning Blu E-Cigs
It’s really pretty easy. All you’re actually doing is taking a q-tip (dry, not wet) and using it to brush inside of the battery’s threaded area. What you’re trying to do is clean the threads. When the threads are dirty, the battery stops working. Well, not that it stops working, but rather that it stops establishing a connection to the cartridge attached to it and the charger too for that matter. So you have to make sure it’s really clean. You’ll notice when you get it that it’s basically spotless, shining bright. You want to keep it like that if possible. So take that q-tip and dig hard to get that dirt out. If it’s too dirty, you may need to replace it.
Beware Of Sticky Oils
If you’re vaping anything other than the cartridges Blu sells for their e-cigs with one of their batteries, you’re going to want to be extra careful because if your cartridge leaks from the bottom, it could gunk-up the threads and cause problems with the battery. Sticky oils and the like, these kinds of extracts in particular are what you really want to watch out for because the residue that they leave behind is extremely difficult to clean out of the threads – if not impossible. You’ve been warned.
