The Blu brand electronic cigarette battery that comes with the company’s reusable e-cig is 510 threaded, which means it’s compatible with a bunch of different vape accessories. And seeing as 510 threading is among the most popular in use today when it comes to vaping products, the number of products that it’s compatible with is seemingly endless.
I point this out because this means that it works with different tanks and atomizers. Which in turn means that it’s capable of powering a non-Blu brand atomizer filled with whatever’s clever.
This means you can use the Blu e-cig battery to power an atomizer filled with the e-juice of your preference. It also means that it can be used to vape extracts/concentrates.
Vaping Concentrates With Blu’s Battery
It can be done. In fact, I’ve done it. While Blu’s cartridges come prefilled with e-liquid, you can actually ditch them entirely and use the battery to power a third-party cartridge filled with third-party material, such as concentrate. I’ve used it to vaporize oil (distillate) as well as e-juices made by manufacturers other than Blu. It not only works, it works well.
I’m not going to sit here and preach it like it’s the best thing ever because it’s not, but what I am going to say is that it works and it works well. However, there are definitely batteries that work better. It’s really a cheap battery in essence. You can buy similar for a fraction of what Blu sells them for if you know where to look (China).
I actually prefer to use a more powerful vape battery when vaping concentrates than what this cheap Blu battery entails, but the point of all this is to enlighten you all to the possibilities that the Blu battery’s 510 threading offers.
Have you ever vaped concentrates with a Blu battery attached to your cartridge? If you have, share your thoughts in the comments section below because I’d love to hear what you thought about the experience and I’m sure my readers would too.
